After having the opportunity to work with the Stacy Foundation and Stacy Amewoyi, I would like to express what a great job they are doing. From the orphanage to the rural areas helping hapless individuals with food or cash to schools in both rural and urban areas that lack basic teaching and learning materials, I would like to say the Stacy Foundation team is definitely a blessing for the people of Ghana. I wish the team all the best and success in their future endeavors. I have gained not only immense knowledge but also valuable exposure to networks and individuals addressing the issues stated above and it was a satisfying and enriching experience overall.

A PROPOSAL FOR FASHIONTHEME: RIGHT–
A PROPOSAL FOR FASHION Theme: Right– chic attire for OLAM Youth Objectives The goal of the program is to help the youth know how to dress appropriately at the right time to places or occasions. We believe one gets confidence in physical appearance at church, interviews, internships, or entry-level jobs, parties and so on. Therefore providing the youth with examples of stylish yet appropriate attire will improve their confidence in appearance and improve their success. Components of the Show The fashion show will consist of a talk on how to dress and a showcase of the attire by models. And also there will be a stand for entrepreneurs to sell their products (cloths, accessories and so on) to the youth. Date, Time and Location The show is slated on Sunday 3rd September 2017 at 2pm. Location is Our Lady of Mercy Parish Tema. Production: Featured Clothing, Hair and Makeup The theme is Right– chic attire for OLAM youth. It is up to the individual brand (Resource Person) to decide which clothing best represents this theme as well as the clothing line. This includes jackets, shirts, dresses, clothes and accessories. For hair and makeup, we would like to style with the right way that suits attire or occasion. Examples of hairstyles used could be straight down, loosely curled and down, half-up, and high or low ponytail. If the Resource person has other suggestions, we will style according to request. Hairdressers who are parishioners will be there to assist. For make-up we will invite the youth in the parish who are into make ups to help, however, as with the hairstyle. Production Models The OLAM Youth will be the major partakers in these activities(modelling, bring and sell and others) Choreography and Music The youth could work with each brand on a choreography idea. One idea that I have had is to have a row of office chairs on the back of the stage. The lights will be turned off as the models sit down in the chairs. The lights will be turned on to reveal the models sitting sophisticatedly in the chairs with their left legs crossed over their right legs. Each model will then take turns proceeding down the runway while a script is read. This choreography will be about business. Conclusion We would be honored to host your clothing in our event. Collaborating with us will not only benfit the youth but the church as a whole.
